Developmental students honored

Faculty and staff are invited to join the English Department and Developmental Reading faculty for Developmental Awards Day on May 5, noon-1, in the Student Lounge. The department will honor its developmental students with an awards ceremony followed by a reception. (more)

Internationals invited to ‘Conversations on the Square’

Though they love living here, many people who have come from other countries to settle in the Knoxville area say that at times they miss getting together with friends at their town square for conversation and catching up on the latest news. This is a traditional way of life in many countries, particularly in Hispanic nations. (more)

Magnolia Avenue Campus plans open house

Prospective students will have the opportunity to find out more about entering college and what to expect once they’re there at “A Taste of Education,” an open house at the Magnolia Avenue Campus. The open house will be May 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m. (more)
