regalia add color, tradition to this year’s commencement
The College’s 32nd annual commencement begins a new
tradition. For the first time in the College’s history,
colorful academic banners and a mace and chain of office
will be part of the ceremony. (more)
Campaign
launched publicly, 70 percent of goal already raised
April 17 Pellissippi State went public on a major gifts
campaign to raise $6 million—and the College has already
reached 70 percent its goal. (more)
Smokies
baseball tickets discounted for Alumni Night
Pellissippi State aims to hit a home run on Saturday, May
12, by hosting its first annual Alumni Night at the Tennessee
Smokies–Chattanooga Lookouts game at Smokies Park
in Sevier County. (more)
Virginia
Tech remembered
Faculty, staff and students came together
for a candlelight vigil April 19 in the Courtyard to remember
the victims and families and to offer prayers for the survivors
of the recent tragedy at Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State University in Blacksburg. (more)
