Name: Cindy Tanner

Title: Publications Coordinator

Major responsibilities: Editing and coordinating production of designing and print work, design overflow jobs when I have time

Place of birth: Olney, Illinois

Family members: My longtime partner, Brian Miller, and assorted dogs, cats, horses and livestock

Something no one knows about you: I have a flowering almond bush grown from cuttings my family has shared for more than 200 years.

Greatest achievement or proudest moment: Most recently, designing and building a built-in bookcase in the bedroom.

Favorite things outside work: Riding my Morgan mares, running a 70-acre farm, learning woodworking.

Most rewarding part of your job: I love to come up with new ways to improve the College—like when employees and students critiqued the course schedule and I got to apply their ideas to make it easier to use.

Favorite quote: Pretty much anything Thomas Jefferson said.
