Bryan earns IAAP honor
Jerry Bryan, vice president of Information Services, has been honored as Executive of the Year by the Oak Ridge chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).
Bryan received the award at the recent IAAP Administrative Professionals Week Luncheon. IAAP selected Bryan based on his professional and personal achievements, outside interests, responsibility to position, civic contributions and demonstrated support of IAAP and the administrative professional's role. The administrative professional for Information Services who nominated Bryan is Nancy Rasnake.
Bryan has been with Pellissippi State since 1995. Prior to that, he was an associate director at West Virginia Network for Educational Telecomputing in Morgantown, West Virginia. As part of his role at Pellissippi State, he has been active in statewide technology initiatives in the Tennessee Board of Regents system. He has served on the IAAP advisory board and as a loaned executive for United Way.
The International Association of Administrative Professionals is a not-for-profit professional association with 40,000 members and affiliates and more than 600 chapters worldwide.
