Magnolia Avenue Campus to host town hall meeting August 18

A “Your Voice, Your Vote!” town hall meeting to address issues of concern to people with disabilities will take place August 18, 4:30 p.m., at the Magnolia Avenue Campus.

Sponsored by the Tennessee Disability Coalition and Knox County Vote! campaign and assisted by Services for Students With Disabilities, the two-hour session will include voter registration and presentations by current Knoxville City Council members and candidates for office.

Council members and candidates will discuss disability-related issues such as housing, employment, health care, transportation and the Americans With Disabilities Act.
