State Foundation to benefit from this weekend’s
outdoor event
Ride
the latest in all-terrain vehicles! Test your skills by
scaling a climbing wall! Try your luck at riding a mechanical
bull! You, your family and friends are invited to try
out all of these activities and more at this weekend’s
Outdoor Sports Adventures Event. The event is scheduled
for Sunday, Sept. 14, noon-5 p.m. on the Pellissippi Campus.
Alcoa
Good Times Kawasaki Yamaha, Mountain Adventures Honda,
Journal Broadcasting Group (Hot 104.5, Star 102.1 and
The Ticket), The Rush and Twin City Nissan are sponsoring
the day of outdoor fun. It costs nothing to attend, but
there will be a small charge for participating in the
various activities. All proceeds will go to the Pellissippi
State Foundation. (more)

State kicks off “TOTAL” health series with
Dr. Bob
Pellissippi
State expects healthy participation in its new four-part
health enhancement series, which launches this month with
“Dr. Bob” at the Pellissippi Campus.

Get help with test taking and career decision making during
several free Study Smart workshops offered by the Student
Development Center in September and October. Open to everyone,
