Student Development Center offers free Study Smart workshops

Get help with test taking and career decision making during several free Study Smart workshops offered by the Student Development Center in September and October. Open to everyone, the sessions are offered at the Pellissippi Campus.

The workshops:

• How to Study Smart. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2-2:50 a.m. and again Tuesday, Oct. 14, 5-5:50 p.m. Learn techniques for studying smarter, not longer or harder. Meets in the Student Development (Assistance) Center, Room 123 of the Goins Building.
• Improve Your Concentration. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2-2:50 p.m. and again Wednesday, Oct. 15, 5-5:50 p.m. Learn strategies for improving your concentration and ways to keep you motivated. Meets in the Student Development (Assistance) Center, Room 123 of the Goins Building.
• Become an Efficient Note-taker. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2-2:50 p.m. and again Thursday, Oct. 16, 5-5:50 p.m. Learn ways to improve your ability to take good notes in class. Meets in the Student Development (Assistance) Center, Room 123 of the Goins Building.
