Join PTK in the race to cure breast cancer

Alpha Theta Xi, Pellissippi State’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, is once again sending a team representing the College to participate in this year’s annual Komen-Knoxville Race for the Cure on October 28.

Alpha Theta Xi invites anyone and everyone to join the team or make a donation.

The race is a fundraising event for the national Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Komen died of breast cancer at age 36 after a three-year struggle, and her sister started the foundation in 1982.

To participate in the event, please visit www.komenknoxville.org or contact Karen Quammen of Phi Theta Kappa at 387-3712 or s_kfquammen@pstcc.edu.
