Pellissippi State-Jefferson Middle School effort nets national honors

Nine months and hundreds of hours of hard work paid off for the Jefferson Middle School Formula One Racing Technology Team, when the group recently won second place honors in a national competition. (more)


Join PTK in the race to cure breast cancer

Alpha Theta Xi, Pellissippi State’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, is once again sending a team representing the College to participate in this year’s annual Komen-Knoxville Race for the Cure on October 28. (more)




The College now has a presence in Knoxville Center Mall. The ad reads, “Great nurses and teachers get their start at Pellissippi State.” It’s located on an escalator near the food court and will remain through the busy holiday season.



National College of Business and Technology recognizes Heart of Knoxville for assisting students

The Heart of Knoxville Career and Resource Center located on the Magnolia Avenue Campus was recently recognized for its educational partnerships with the Knoxville campus of National College of Business and Technology. (more)

Testing Center offers internationally recognized certifications in electronics

Electronic Technician Association International certifications are now available through the Testing Center. These certifications are internationally recognized as a testament to the technician’s ability to perform in his or her field. (more)

A new partnership between Pellissippi State and the Coulter & Justus Technology Solutions Group will make it easier for business professionals to learn the basics of Peachtree Accounting software. (more)
