Pellissippi State, Coulter & Justus partner with Peachtree software training

A new partnership between Pellissippi State and the Coulter & Justus Technology Solutions Group will make it easier for business professionals to learn the basics of Peachtree Accounting software.

The College and the software training provider have entered into an agreement to offer Peachtree Accounting instruction at the Pellissippi Campus.

“We are very excited about this new partnership,” said Debi Bolton, manager of Pellissippi State’s Computer Training Institute. “CTI’s mission is to provide training to the community, and Coulter & Justus, a certified Sage Business Partner and a certified Microsoft partner, is an excellent source of training.”

According to Troy Turrentine, director of the Business and Technology Group at Coulter & Justus, it has been some time since a Peachtree Accounting class, instructed by a Peachtree Premier Trainer, has been offered.

“We believe the business community will find immense value in Peachtree classes,” said Turrentine. “And offering them through Pellissippi State allows participants to come into a friendly, yet structured classroom environment and learn the basics of Peachtree Accounting.”

Attendees who complete the training will earn continuing education units and may be eligible for Certified Professional Education credits.

Bolton and Turrentine say they expect the partnership to expand to include additional training.

“This relationship is a perfect fit with what both partners want to offer area businesses,” said Bolton. “We look forward to working with Coulter & Justus even more in the future.”
