Cotter is the new director of TRiO Student Support Services
at Pellissippi State. TRiO programs are designed to help
economically disadvantaged students, first-generation college
students and students with disabilities, at both the secondary-school

Volunteers are still needed for the Hot Air
Balloon Festival! All are asked to work a minimum
of a three-hour shift. As a volunteer, you’ll
receive perks such as one complimentary weekend car
pass that will provide you and the guests in your
vehicle entry to the festival, a volunteer T-shirt
to wear at the festival and one entry to win a balloon
ride for two (one entry per three-hour shift). For
