Free ACT prep workshops offered in November, December

Strategies for scoring well on the ACT examination will be presented at free test preparation workshops November 10 and December 1.

The sessions, for high school juniors and seniors, are scheduled November 10, 4:30-7:15 p.m., in the Goins Auditorium on the Pellissippi Campus and December 1, 4-6:30 p.m., in the Student Lounge of Blount County Center.

Students will receive tips on strategies for excelling on the ACT; brushing up on math, English and science skills; and finding information about other ACT resources. The sessions also will include sample questions and study aids.
