completes ‘tour’ of Smokies’ trails
Bryant,
an associate professor of Web Technology in the new Media
Technologies program, has completed one major goal of
her near-lifelong love affair with hiking. She has hiked
every mile of officially named trails in the Great Smoky

readings
Ed Francisco, writer-in-residence and professor of English,
and Elaine Oswald, associate professor of English, recently
participated in a special public reading of famous books
that have been banned or challenged because of their content.

Gayle Wood and Leigh Anne Touzeau made presentations at
the American Council on Education conference October 6-9
in Phoenix. The title of their session was "African-American
Students' Transition to and Success in Higher Education."
