Fall Employment
Festival set at Heart of Knoxville
The
Heart of Knoxville Career and Resource Center at the Magnolia
Avenue Campus will host the 2004 Fall Employment Festival
October 28. The job fair is geared toward adults seeking
part-time or full-time employment in administration, customer
service, health care, construction and business technology.

Faculty recital
takes on animal theme Audience
members will feel like they’re a part of the animal
world as they listen to the selections performed at the
Music Program’s Fall 2004 Faculty Recital. “Carnival
of the Animals” is the theme of this year’s
production, which features various vocal and instrumental
combinations depicting a menagerie of creatures. (more)
Pellissippi
State stages dark comedy on parenthood
Enter,
Helen and John. We know from the beginning of this two-act
play that these parents are utterly clueless: They aren’t
quite sure how to determine the gender of their firstborn
son, so they make a decision … and name him Daisy.

Dr. Allen
Edwards reads to students at Cedar Bluff Primary as part
of the Principal for a Day program. The program is designed
to foster community involvement in public education by having
executives spend a day in the schools.
