Singer/songwriter to perform at Pellissippi State

Singer/songwriter Lea will perform her own blend of acoustic rock, folk, jazz and blues during four performances at Pellissippi State. The performances are part of the College’s monthlong celebration “The Beauty of Cultures.”

Lea, a Baltimore native, has been performing in the Washington, D.C., area since she was 13. She later studied music in Europe and has since performed in countless venues in the U.S., including the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage. She is a repeated nominee for a Whammy Award.

Lea will perform October 26 at 10:45 and 11:45 a.m. at the Magnolia Avenue Campus. She will give additional performances in the Goins Student Lounge October 28 at 10:45 and 11:45 a.m.

The performances are free and open to the public. For more information, call 539-7160.
