Pellissippi State’s Web site has record-setting month

September generated the largest amount of traffic for Pellissippi State’s Web site to date. The nearly 12.2 million hits surpassed the previous high, set in February 2004, of 10 million hits. In total, 65,000 different individuals viewed more than 789,000 pages of College information in September. Additionally, our home page was viewed more than 247,000 times.

Online visitors to Pellissippi State have grown in number from a meager 300,000 hits in June 1999 to the current totals. September and February, the first complete months in the fall and spring semesters, have emerged as the busiest online months for the College. The Pellissippi State home page accounts for nearly one in three of all Web pages visited. The top 10 most visited pages:
