Support Staff Council program provides tips for holiday tablescapes
With the holiday season rapidly approaching, it's not too early to begin planning for those festive get-togethers. A spectacular-looking table can be the crowning point of your holiday decorations.A special presentation at Pellissippi State will show you how to create unforgettable tablescapes—sure to be the envy of all your guests—by using everyday household items in combination with your holiday linens and china.
Margaret Ann Jeffries, program coordinator of Pellissippi State's Interior Design Technology program and department head of Engineering and Media Technologies, will use her design training and expertise to teach you how to adorn your table with bold color palettes, tantalizing textures, and holiday glitz and sparkle. Her presentation, “Holiday Tablescapes, Tips and Ideas,” will be held on Thursday, November 20, at noon in the Performing Arts Center. Sponsored by the College's Support Staff Council, the program is free and open to the public.
