Pellissippi State, Medic sponsor blood drive
November 9

The Medic Mobile Unit will be on the Pellissippi Campus November 9 for a campuswide blood drive.

The blood drive will take place in the Visitors’ Parking Lot 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Medic officials say all blood types are needed. Each donor will receive a free Medic T-shirt and free cholesterol evaluation. Identification is required, and no fasting is necessary.

The Medic Regional Blood Center is the only blood collector and supplier for all eight Knoxville area hospitals and for about 20 other hospitals in East Tennessee and Southeast Kentucky.
