A new internship program is in place at BWXT Y-12 in Oak Ridge for Pellissippi State students. (more)

Pellissippi State hosts safe-driving exhibit November 11

A realistic driving simulator that shows the effect of too much alcohol on drivers will be set up November 11, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., in the Cafeteria Annex. (more)



Cooke Foundation scholarships available to two-year college students, alumni

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is accepting applications for its Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program. The program awards up to $30,000 annually per recipient to help students and recent alumni from community colleges and other two-year institutions pursue four-year degrees at any accredited college or university in the U.S. and abroad. Pellissippi State partnerships ‘connect’ students to four-year degrees

Because of a program called the “University Connection,” students can now earn a bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee State University or Tennessee Technological University without leaving the Pellissippi State Technical Community College campus. (more)
