Major responsibilities: I mostly help new and prospective students get off to a good start with the right information.

Family members: I have two black Labs who are the world’s laziest dogs and one cat that likes to ambush ankles.

Something no one knows about you: I know how to crochet.

Greatest achievement or proudest moment: Addressing a packed house at my parents’ business, The Ritz Theater, when it first opened. (The Ritz is a single-screen movie theater in Clinton.)

Favorite things outside work: Cooking, BBQ, movies, “Lost” television show, arc welding and tending my garden.

Most rewarding part of your job: I'm really fond of paychecks, but I also enjoy knowing that I help influence people into more rewarding, productive paths, which will have a positive impact on the rest of their lives.

Most Influential Person in your life and why: My father, for giving me his “can do” attitude.
