Military veterans honored at reception About
30 military veterans who are full-time or part-time employees of
the College were recognized at a Veterans’ Day reception November
11 in the Goins Student Lounge.The reception included a display of military-related memorabilia, including a World War II medal, a gas mask, uniforms from the different branches and photo albums. About 130 employees attended the reception, according to Karen Queener, director of Human Resources. Human Resources sponsored the event. |
