Children of all ages enjoy Breakfast With Santa

LesterLester the Elf was one of the highlights of this year’s Breakfast With Santa, which was sponsored by Student Life and Recreation and the Council of Student Advocates. Lester delighted the children with his fabulous balloon creations. More than 300 faculty, staff, students and their families attended this year’s event. Children and adults alike enjoyed eating a pancake breakfast, visiting with Santa and making dozens of holiday crafts.

ACT Center Grand Opening is a success

The ACT Center’s Grand Opening went off without a hitch. Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale and ACT officials were on hand to talk about what the ACT Center offers and the impact it will have on the Knoxville community. Representatives of area businesses took advantage of the opening to view samples of the courses available.

Pellissippi State’s ACT Center is a state-of-the-art testing and training center offering more than 2,500 computer-based courses in management, leadership, personal development, basic skills, and a variety of industrial and technical skills.
