Listen to the sounds of Hardin Valley Thunder, Pellissippi State's bluegrass ensemble, as the opening act for Morgan Myles.
Hardin Valley Thunder has performed many times at the College, satisfying bluegrass lovers with classics such as "Blue Moon of Kentucky," "I'll Fly Away" and "Foggy Mountain Breakdown."
"We do a lot of traditional bluegrass standard tunes like 'Jerusalem Bridge,' 'Old Joe Clark' and 'Wildwood Flower,'" said Music instructor and ensemble director Larry Vincent. "We also have more a modern repertoire that includes Nickel Creek and other groups that we call 'newgrass.'"
