Asparagus and Benton’s Bacon Quiche


4 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup milk
2 cups Romano cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste- approx. 1 t each
¾ pound fresh asparagus sliced
¼ pound cooked and chopped Benton’s bacon
1 frozen unbaked pie shell


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. With a fork, poke holes in pie shell and par bake in oven for 5 minutes (do not allow to brown)
  3. Mix together eggs, cream, milk, salt and pepper in a bowl until combined
  4. Add cooked bacon, asparagus, and cheese
  5. Place egg mixture into pie pan and bake in oven for 30 minutes until egg is set
