Concentrations: Management, Entrepreneurship, and Hospitality Management

Always wanted to be your own boss? Are you a natural-born leader wanting to hone your management skills? Or is hospitality more your style?  

Whatever your career path, Pellissippi State’s Business program concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Management and Hospitality Management will equip you with the skills to succeed.  

Our professionally experienced faculty will take you through every facet of business. You’ll get hands-on experience, create original content and complete an internship in your chosen field.  

As a student in Entrepreneurship, you’ll receive specialized instruction in topics specific to developing and running your own business. We’ll make sure you finish the program with a workable business plan and a blueprint for your first big endeavor. 

If Management is your strong suit, you’ll learn all components of running a business and managing people, including leadership skills, human resources, strategic planning, accounting and economics.  

In Hospitality Management, you’ll get well-rounded knowledge of all areas of hospitality and gain practical experience in front-of-the-house operations in resorts, restaurants, cruise ships, airlines and more. 

With your associate degree in hand, you’ll be in high demand from many local businesses. In fact, there is a 98% hire rate of our Business students who pursue a career after graduation with their associate degree. Or transfer your credits to a four-year institution and go for a bachelor’s degree or beyond.
