Pellissippi State’s Hardin Valley Campus opened in 1986. Today, the Hardin Valley Campus is our largest. 

The 144-acre campus has a walking trail and disc golf course that are open to the community. Other unique features include the Student Recreation Center, the Bagwell Center for Media and Art and the Clayton Performing Arts Center. You might even spy our unofficial mascots, Muscovy ducks and Canada geese, on this campus.

Pellissippi State’s Blount County Campus opened in 2010, but the College has offered  classes in Blount County since 1985 — meeting at Maryville High School and the former Union and Bungalow elementary schools. 

Students are able to earn degrees and certificates in a variety of programs entirely on the  Blount County Campus. The campus is home to our Nursing program, a manufacturing technology lab, the West Chevrolet Auditorium, an outdoor amphitheater and a walking trail. A new Workforce Development Center is currently under construction and expected to open fall 2022. It will include our Culinary Arts program, a corporate training center and shared space with the Tennessee College of Applied Technology, among other uses.

Pellissippi State’s Magnolia Avenue Campus opened in 2000 in the former Knoxville Catholic High School in east Knoxville. We usually educate about 600 students each semester at this campus, which includes programs including Audio Production Engineering and Nursing. The Magnolia Avenue Campus is easily accessible by car or public transportation – or  even by foot for residents of downtown Knoxville and surrounding areas.

Pellissippi State’s Strawberry Plains Campus opened in 2012. We share our more than 220,000 square feet of space with Knox County Schools’ Career Magnet AcademyTCAT-Knoxville and state offices. 

The Jenny and Randy Boyd Building houses state-of-the-art Nursing and Cyber Defense labs plus the Mega Lab, an enormous space devoted to Engineering Technology, Welding Technology and Computer Information Technology.
