Priority Financial Aid Application Deadline

This deadline is the final date by which to complete your FAFSA and other financial aid requirements.

Missing the deadline won’t delay your acceptance into college, your ability to register for classes or even your ability to qualify for financial aid — but missing a deadline can mean that your financial aid disbursements are delayed, and it could possibly prevent you from charging at the bookstore.

Schedule Confirmation and Fee Deadline for Registration

This is the deadline to pay all your fees and confirm your schedule. Typically, there are several schedule confirmation and fee deadline dates, which sometimes are called “expunge dates.” Each deadline is a hard deadline for students who have registered for classes and completed financial aid as of that date. In other words, each new expunge date affects only those students who have registered for classes since the last expunge date. If you’ve already paid all your fees and confirmed your schedule, you don’t have to worry about expunge dates after the first one.

The first confirmation and fee deadline is an early date for those who registered for classes early. The final date is the last deadline, and if you miss it, your schedule will be deleted.

Pay fees in myPellissippi or at the Cashier, and confirm your schedule in myPellissippi.

Bookstore Charge Period

Depending on your financial aid, you may be able to charge textbooks to your student account, which is quite handy. However, the bookstore will only charge purchases during a certain period. If you miss the charge period, you’ll have to cover the costs of your books and other supplies out of pocket.

Deadline for 100% Refund (and 75% and 25%)

If you want to withdraw from a class — and you are totally aware of the possible financial aid repercussions of doing so — these dates tell you what percentage of your tuition you can expect to have reimbursed to you. In other words, we will reimburse you for the percentage of class you haven’t taken … but only on or before certain dates. On the 100% refund date, you can be reimbursed the full cost of the class you didn’t take … then 75%, then 25%. If you withdraw after the 25% date, you are not reimbursed for the portion of the class you did not complete.
