Ms. Lewis holds a B.A. in English from Maryville College, an Assoc. of Arts in Fine Art from Roane State Community College, and an M.S. Interior Design from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her graduate studies concentrated on historic preservation and designing interiors for elderly people.  She worked as a designer at King and Johnson Inc., a Knoxville architecture firm, where she concentrated in healthcare design.  She currently is an adjunct instructor at Pellissippi State Technical Community College and operates Blair Lewis Interiors, which specializes in creating enabling environments for older adults.  Before beginning her study in interior design, Ms. Lewis worked over 20 years in the fields of marketing and public relations, and earlier she taught 10th and 12th-grade English at Oak Ridge High School.  She is a native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
