Marcia is a notable contemporary artist whose powerful and rich work has been featured in numerous regional, national and international exhibitions, both solo and group. Her pieces are housed in prestigious collections, corporate, private, and museum throughout the United States. In addition, Marcia has received multiple honors and awards, including the William Gropper Drawing Award at the Lowe Art Museum, Coral Gables, Florida; Best in Show at the Hortt Memorial Exhibition, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and Best in Show at the Artfest Juried Exhibition, Knoxville.

Marcia has been a full-time faculty member of the art department at Pellissippi State for the past 11 years.
