Increasingly acute and intense problems such as alcoholism, violence, drugs,
crime, inequality, lifestyle preferences and environmental abuse within the
context of social change. Assessment of control strategies. Spring and Fall.
SOC 1100 Introduction to Criminal Justice
(3 Credits)
Conceptions of the criminal justice system, the nature and extent of crime,
with an emphasis on the functions of the criminal justice system such as, criminal
deviation, law enforcement agencies, judicial agencies, and correction agencies with major emphasis in criminal justice administration. Offered on demand.
