Ms. Davis received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in 1985 and her Master's in Education from Tennessee Technology Institute. She has fifteen years experience as a drafter in civil and architectural disciplines and ten years as a vocational drafting instructor.

Ms. Davis is an Associate Professor. She taught at Pellissippi State as an adjunct instructor from 1985 to 1991 and was then hired as full time faculty.

Ms. Davis is a member of the Smokie Mountain AutoCAD User's Group and has attended four AutoCAD university training sessions.

Ms. Davis was named Technical Teacher of the Year for 2003 by the American Technical Education Association (ATEA) Missippi River and Gulf Region.

She will now be considered by the national association for National Technical Teacher of the Year for 2004. The winner will be announced at the national conference, which takes place April 14-17 in Nashville.
