ADVISING GUIDE FOR MUSIC MAJORS


The following is a guide for students who plan to major in music, resulting in a Bachelor of Music degree. Only one transfer agreement (with Carson-Newman College) currently exists for the Bachelor of Music degree since general education requirements vary greatly between the Bachelor of Music and the Bachelor of Arts degrees. This advising guide does NOT lead to an associate’s degree. It simply allows students to stay on schedule with their major-related courses before transferring to their receiving institution. Students who wish to graduate from Pellissippi State should see their assigned academic advisor for additional course requirements.
