"Special student" status does not guarantee admission to the B.S.N. major. Student will be enrolled at both PSTCC and ETSU during the spring semester of sophomore year.
"Special students" will be assessed the ETSU tuition rate for courses offered by ETSU. The ETSU Office of Admissions will determine residency status for purposes of ETSU tuition rates (i.e., in state or out-of-state).
  1. Students must make formal application to the College of Nursing B.S.N. major during the semester in which they will complete (or have in progress) all the courses listed above and meet all other admission requirements. Typically, application is made during the first semester of the sophomore year. The deadline for application to the spring semester is October 1.
The student must submit a completed College of Nursing application, copies of all college/university transcripts and an academic records release form. 1. Conditionally admitted students "special students" will advance register for FCNU 2010, 2030, and PMNU 2020, 2310, as well as remaining PSTCC courses. A final verification of eligibility will be made once fall semester grades become available. Students who are no longer eligible at the end of the fall semester will be administratively dropped from the nursing courses and must reapply to the next B.S.N. class or select an alternate program at PSTCC.
