Lincoln Memorial University (LMU)

Maryville College offers a four-year education program. Study combines coursework in liberal arts, a major field and professional education classes. Licensure is available for those who want to pursue elementary (K-6), secondary (7-12) education or K-12 special education. Tennessee Technological University (TTU)
TTU’s four-year elementary education (K-6) program is offered at the main campus in Cookeville, but students also have the opportunity to complete the Bachelor of Science degree entirely at the Pellissippi State campus. Tusculum College
Tusculum College now offers a K-6 education curriculum at its Knoxville Regional Center. The curriculum, a professional licensure sequence (junior/senior coursework), can be completed in an 18-month accelerated format with flexible hours convenient for working adults. University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK)
UTK offers both elementary and secondary education programs. Students earn a bachelor’s degree in their chosen major field with a minor in education. K-12 licensure in special education is also available. On completion of the five-year program, students lack only four courses to earn a master’s degree.
