Maryville College offers a four-year education program. Study combines
coursework in liberal arts, a major field and professional education classes.

Technological University (TTU)
TTU’s four-year elementary education (K-6) program is offered at
the main campus in Cookeville, but students also have the opportunity
to complete the Bachelor of Science degree entirely at the Pellissippi

Tusculum College now offers a K-6 education curriculum at its Knoxville
Regional Center. The curriculum, a professional licensure sequence (junior/senior
coursework), can be completed in an 18-month accelerated format with flexible

UTK offers both elementary and secondary education programs. Students
earn a bachelor’s degree in their chosen major field with a minor
in education. K-12 licensure in special education is also available. On
completion of the five-year program, students lack only four courses to
