Mr. Mallette received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Troy State. He has a Masters' of Science in Electrical Engineering and Education, both from the University of Tennessee.

Mr. Mallette has worked in the Electrical Engineering field for 21 years prior to coming to Pellissippi State Technical community College. He worked 7 years as a technician aligning and repairing Electronic countermeasures systems for the Air Force and 14 years designing and flight testing missile seekers and surveillance radar systems. He has also taught for 4 years Math and Technology classes.

Mr. Mallette is teaching Active Devices I, Active Devices II, Digital Fundamentals, Introduction to Electrical Engineering Technology, Microcomputer Architecture and Major Projects.
