Reference Web Resources

Students should be able to find the Reference Web Resources page, understand the resources, point out links that are relevant to the course, and explain why. Links include Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Electronic Journals, Career and Job Resources, and Electronic Books.

On-line Databases

Students should know how to find the On-line Databases page, how to navigate the screen, and understand selected databases. 

They should have an understanding of the: 

Expanded Academic ASAP (look under Info Trac), and 
Databases by Subject.

Students should be understand that the Expanded Academic Database is the database to use for seeking periodicals as opposed to the On-line Catalogue that is used for locating books.
