SERVICE REQUESTS FOR USERS
A Service Request is a quick and easy way to make a non-emergency request for service, repairs or ordering copy paper for your area.
- Faculty - Contact your departmental secretary to submit service requests.
- Staff - Each department has access to the service request desktop icon on one or more computers located in your area.
The followings steps are needed to submit a work request:
- Double-click the Service Request desktop icon.
- Login with your user name and password. Note: contact Regina Collins at (694-6618) to setup your Username and Password, at that time your User account will be activated.
- Click on File and select New. This creates a Service Request window.
- Enter a Task name and specification, and associate it with a Facility (required), Building and Interior (optional) and Asset (required) using the dropdown list. Note: you must associate your Service Request with a Facility and Asset.
- Click the Submit button. Your submitted Service Request will be listed under Submitted Service Requests.
- If you have questions or need help on the Service Requests contact Regina Collins at (694-6618). Note: Service Requests will not work unless you have connected to the network.
Service Requests can be followed from approval to completion by requester.
COPY PAPER
Copy paper for departmental use is available through the Facilities Department. Your department will be charged at the cost of the last purchase price of the paper. Requests for paper should be submitted on the Service Request icon through your departmental secretary.
