Federal Work-Study Program

The Federal Work-Study Program provides part-time jobs to students who have financial need as determined by the federal formula. Jobs are available on campus in such areas as the library, laboratories, maintenance department, and faculty and administrative offices. Students are normally awarded the opportunity to earn $1500 per semester.

Eligibility for New Applicants

Work assignments are made by the Financial Aid Office.

Work contracts are signed by both the student and supervisor. The student must complete and submit a W-4 and I-9 form (Employment Eligibility Verification). This, with the Social Security card and driver's license, must be brought to the Financial Aid Office. Time sheets and payroll information will be given to the student at that time. Student must not begin work until officially assigned and all paperwork is completed.
