Lodging Careers

The lodging segment of the hospitality industry is filled with multiple career opportunities for those willing to dedicate them selves to excellence. Lodging consists of Hotels, Motels, Inns, Beds & Breakfasts to name a few. There are numerous types of hotels and motels that range from low budget motor inns for a place to sleep to high budget luxury hotels where the guest's demands are always the primary concern. There are also extended stay facilities where the guest may opt to stay a month or more as well as lodging facilities that specialize in customers such as conference and meeting facilities. For every segment of lodging customer, there is or soon will be, a type of lodging facility that meets their specific needs. The lodging career can lead to other careers such as food service, meeting planning, convention management, and many others.
