The Banner Data Integrity Task Force was set up to deal with issues such as cleanup of Plus data prior to conversion to Banner, data standards such as how names and addresses will be entered and stored, and the fact that many Banner data elements are shared across all the major functional systems. For example, because the same person could be a student and an employee at the same time, all names will have to be stored in a manner that is consistent with the needs of payroll processing.
