Wireless service on campus provides access to the internet
and campus resources. You must have a valid PSTCC account in order to access the
wireless network and have the appropriate wireless equipment. There are no
wireless cards available for checkout. Please make sure that your wireless
device is protected with the latest antivirus software available and is updated

Quick Computer setup and login:
Configure your computer (only complete once). If you are familiar with this
setup, please verify the following settings and follow instructions for log in:

Printing Capabilities:
Printing access (at this time) will be granted only in the Computer Open Lab on
the Third Floor of the ERC at the Hardin Valley Campus. Printer drivers are
automatically available with Windows 2000 and XP. The printer is a Hewlett Packard 8150 with
IP: 172.20.50.18. Print commands may be submitted from
any access point, but printouts will only be available in ER327.

Network and Technical Services provides web page support for the Pellissippi
Wireless Network. No technical or hands-on assistance is available.
Wireless Setup for PC:
1. Click on Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device
Manager

Find the Network Adapters section and double click. This will show you the
wireless adapter available. Make sure there is not a conflict symbol by the
adapter (such as an exclamation point or flag). If there is a problem with your
adapter you can try to solve by reinstalling the NIC software according to
manufacturers instructions. Otherwise you will need to contact the manufacturer
or dealer. If there are no problems, continue with the setup:
2. Click on Start > Control Panel > Network Connections (double click)
Next double click on Wireless Network Connection and click on the Properties
button.
Next, Click on the Wireless Networks tab:
3. Configure the settings by clicking on the Configure button:

Add the PSNET as a network. This must be in all capital letters. You must also
disable WEP by making sure no check is in the box (see example below).

Once you have made these settings, you are now ready to log in. Simply:
