(MATH 1730) your next math class?

Did you know that MATH 1710 & 1720 are two new courses

(6 credit hours) which cover the content of the 5 credit hour MATH 1730 (Precalculus) at a slower pace?

These new courses may be perfect for you if:

(1) You are coming straight out of DSPM 0850 and

feel you may do better with a slower pace

(2) You have been unsuccessful in MATH 1730

(3) You have never had trigonometry

(4) You haven't had a math course in quite a while

(5) You prefer a slower pace for any reason

Students who successfully complete both MATH 1710 and 1720 will have their unsuccessful attempts (maximum of two attempts) in MATH 1730 removed from their GPA calculation (via repeat processing) just as if they successfully retook MATH 1730! Either choice prepares you for Math 1910.
