About VPT
The Video Production Technology program offers condensed, but intensive hands-on experience with industry standard equipment and processes. Students learn to work in a broadcast studio and on location. They use commercially popular HDV and digital equipment and software like Betacam, DV Cam, Avid, FinalCut, ProTools, Photoshop and more.
Students are offered basic and advanced training in scriptwriting, editing, sound recording and mixing, electronic cinematography and lighting, producing, directing, budgeting, graphics, animation, Web media, editing and computer applications.
