The designated open lab has 13 workstations equipped with 11 Macintosh G4s with dual 17 inch monitors, 2 Dell PCs and also a dry mounting system for student projects. A wall mounted matboard cutter is also readily available for student use. Software applications in the design/illustration classes include Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, QuarkXPress, Cinema 4D R9, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash.

Fully equipped Macintosh labs are available for instruction and for use by students. Each of our teaching labs include 18 student workstations with Apple Power Macintosh G5 dual processor computers with 20-inch flat screen LCD monitors, and a separate scanning workstation outfitted with both a legal-sized flatbed scanner with transparency capability, and a Nikon 4000 35mm film scanner. The instructor workstation is equipped with dual monitors and is connected to dual LCD projectors.
