To train students how to protect critical, interdependent
infrastructures through Learning, Engagement, and Discovery
of innovative concepts, policies, and technologies.
Career Opportunities for Graduates can be found in
private and public businesses, airports, public safety
works, private security, police agencies, the FBI,
Secret Service, state police forces, the DEA, U.S.
Marshals, special agents, customs investigation, border
patrol, and many other agencies now regulated under
the Department of Homeland Security Homeland Security.
Six critical homeland security mission areas: intelligence
and warning, border and transportation security, domestic
counter terrorism, protecting critical infrastructure,
defending against catastrophic terrorism, and emergency
preparedness and response.
Educational Opportunities for Graduates are anticipated
in the transfer of students with our Associates of
Applied Science in Security Administration and Technology
into a Bachelor’s Degree program in a related
technical field, or in Homeland Security. In this changing
world where terrorist’s threaten to destroy every
thread of our social fabric, employers, both government
and private sector, should be particularly interested
in an employee with an emphasis in Security Management.
