What
is Fit for Life?
Fit for
Life is a 12 week fitness program designed to help students, administrators,
faculty, and staff form life changing fitness habits that will follow
them throughout the rest of their lives using strength training, aerobic
exercise, nutritional, and mental strategies to accomplish their individual
goals.
How
much does it cost?
It is FREE
for all PSTCC students, administrators,
faculty
and staff!
What
are the benefits and rewards?
Fit
for Life offers opportunities for improved physical
and mental wellness designed to keep participants fit for
the rest of their lives.
How
does the program work?
Each
participant will be given a body assessment test, with blood pressure
and flexibility checks at the beginning of the program, and evaluation
sheets to keep up with their own indivudual program. Weight lost checks
will be at the end of every week. Information will be provided regarding
strength training, aerobic,
cardio, and other trainings and seminars. If your goals are to
lose weight, improve muscle tone, develop better eating habits,
and
reduce stress, then this is the program for you! The winner of the program
will receive a great prize at the end of the 12 weeks.
