Mission Statement

The purpose of Student Life and Recreation is to provide learning and personal development in co-curricular activities and experiences where students connect and engage with other students, faculty, staff, and the community.


 

 

 

 

 

 

Student Life offers a variety of ways for students to get involved at Pellissippi State. Students are encouraged to participate in campus and service learning activities, student leadership, student clubs and organizations, co-curricular learning experiences, and "Connect the Pieces" Student Life's incentive program designed to get students connected with people, resources, and activities on campus. The Student Recreation Center offers recreational events, intramurals, tournaments, weight training, and various fitness exercises as a part of the "Fit for Life" program.

Through these experiences students learn and build confidence, self- esteem, strengthen interpersonal communication, teamwork, physical fitness, and develop leadership skills and qualities that are essential to their future success.
