Services for Students With Disabilities provides the following services to qualified students:
- Provide sign-language interpreter services
- Assist with registration and student advising. Read our new student checklist (RTF, PDF).
- Provide individualized accommodation plans for students
- Provide scribes, note takers, and lab assistants to qualified individuals upon request
- Provide alternate format textbooks (e.g. books-on-tape, E-texts). Review our Alternate formats page.
- Liaison to Vocational Rehabilitation, Veteran's Administration, and Pellissippi State faculty/staff
- Assist students in locating academic and disability resources
- Provide print enlargement services for low vision students
- Furnish note paper for volunteer note takers
