ARTICULATION CREDIT for Passing CIW Exams (Grade Equivalency)

To receive college credit for passing any exam, the student should:

1.   Submit the PSTCC application form at https://psweb.pstcc.edu/ahomepg.htm.

2.   Pay the $10 application fee.

3.   Submit the Hepatitis B form or release at http://www.pstcc.edu/departments/admissions/imm.pdf.

4.   Fax or mail a copy of (1) CIW certificate and (2) exam score sheet to Gay Bryant, PSTCC, PO Box 22990, Knoxville, TN 37933 fax 865.539.7041 Attn GBryant.

5.   Email Gay Bryant (gbryant@pstcc.edu) (phone 865-694-6488) to let her know the documents are being sent.

Grading Scale (Version 5 exam scores are shown in red):

 

WEB 2291 CIW Foundations Certification (1cr)
      A = Score 54+ of 85 items correct (64% correct - PASS EXAM)
      F = Score <54 of 85 items correct (63% or less correct - FAIL EXAM)

 

WEB 2292-2293 CIW Site Designer Certification/CIW E-Commerce Certification - Version 4 (1cr)
      A = Score 45+ of 60 items correct (>75% correct - PASS EXAM)
      F = Score <45 of 60 items correct (74% or less correct - FAIL EXAM)

WEB 2391 CIW JavaScript Fundamentals Certification (1cr)
      A = Score 38+ of 50 items correct (>75% correct - PASS EXAM)
      F = Score <38 of 50 items correct (74% or less correct - FAIL EXAM)

WEB 2292 CIW Site Designer Certification - Version 5 (1cr)
      A = Score 49+ of 70 items correct (>70% correct - PASS EXAM)
