ERC (Educational Resources Center)
The Educational Resources Center on the Division Street campus is located in room DV208. The ERC consists of the Academic Support Center (free tutoring), Library, research computer lab, study areas, and Testing Center.
During the fall and spring semesters, the Division St. ERC hours are
Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Division Street campus is closed in June and July. Before the semester begins in August and after finals in May, our interim hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
In the ERC, there are 18 desktop computers available for students to access the Internet and 80+ full-text databases. These machines have web browsers as well as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access) and other software installed for you to complete assignments and coursework. Students can print in black and white. Printing is for educational purposes only. ERC staff members are always happy to assist you in your research.
Division Street Library Services
- We have calculators, iPad 2s, laptop computers, and MP3 players available for checkout. The iPads and laptops are available for four-hour checkout and can only be used in the ERC. The MP3 players are available for a two week checkout and can leave the ERC.
- Our book collection consists of hundreds of circulating titles as well as supporting materials for the English as a Second Language (ESL), Hospitality, Culinary Arts, and Paralegal Studies programs. If you need a book that is not located at Division Street, we can request it from the holding library at another Pellissippi State campus. Simply print out the title record from the online catalog and bring it to the circulation desk. Within 1-2 days, your book will be sent from the appropriate holding library to the Division Street campus. The requester can retrieve the book from the Division Street ERC.
- Pellissippi State students and staff and faculty members are entitled to a Tennessee Board of Regents/University of Tennessee borrower's card. This card permits you to borrow books from the UT library as well as other TBR libraries. To acquire a UT/TBR borrower's card, please visit the Division Street ERC or other Pellissippi State ERC.

Also, we make Pellissippi State photo ID's in the Division Street ERC. Your student ID is your library card and gives you access to the Academic Support Centers, Learning Commons, and Testing Centers. A student ID is required to check items out from the ERC. Students, faculty, and staff should get a Pellissippi State photo ID. The first ID is free; replacements are $10. If you misplace your ID, please pay the replacement fee at the Business Office and bring the receipt to the Division St. ERC to have your ID remade. For more information about Pellissippi State student IDs, please visit the photo ID page.
